The Truth About Six Pack Abs is 149 page PDF ebook that shows you important core exercises that strengthen, cut, and grow your abdominal muscles, and has a number of fat burning meals you can eat to cut up fast. It also includes a number of free bonuses.

At the time of purchase the bonuses included: Training & Nutrition Insider Secrets for a Lean Body (61 pages), 10 Minute Full Body Stretch Routine (13 pages), Skyrocket Your Fat Loss Success (41 pages), 126 Recipes for Maximum Sports Performance (44 pages), Killer Ab Workout (12 pages), Ultimate Stair Exercises (99 pages), Fast Fusion Fat Loss Made Easy at Home (33 pages).

There is so much information in this package that I still haven't gone through it all. The main manual itself has everything you need. With all the bonuses you have enough exercises to keep you busy for years.

Here's a break down summary of what you can expect to find in the The Truth About Six Pack Abs manual.

The manual starts off with a preface about who the book is for. Basically men and women of any age. Gender is irrelevant since the best exercises to do are the best exercise to do. Approximately 60% of the reader base are women looking for sexy abs. This program is just as effective for both men and women.

The focus is on exercises that target your core abdominal muscles. But, the exercises outlined are not ab exercises. The fact of the matter is, if you're not following a healthy diet and eating properly it doesn't matter how much you workout your abs.

The manual covers gym-based workouts, home workouts, and body-weight only workouts. These workouts do not require you to have a gym. To get the most out of the workouts all you need is a stability ball and a set of adjustable power block dumbbells or a set of free weight dumbbells.

The manual covers numerous health foods and specific foods you need to eat to increase the rate your body burns calories. It also discusses proper eating patterns to further increase daily calorie burning, what foods not to eat, and includes a carbohydrate, protein, and fat count chart for a number of common foods.

There are two examples you can follow to help you plan out your training diet so you'll know what you're eating each day, how many calories you have consumed, and how many calories you have burned.

You also get 72 detailed daily eating schedules already calculated out, so you can begin following a proper diet and consuming the right amount of calories immediately. This is on page 47.

Finally you'll get learn about what exercises to do and which exercises to avoid. The exercises are photographed, making it easy to follow, and includes a brief summary of how to do the exercise and how it helps develop abdominal muscles and cuts you up.

There are 26 abdominal exercises and 8 abs training programs you can follow—beginner to advanced. You'll also find a formula (page 81) that calculates your daily calorie intake base on your weight and other factors. This allows you to burn enough extra calories to lose 1 pound of pure body fat per week—still maintaining all your muscle. The author also supplies a special calorie calculator that will figure out your optimal calorie intake per day.

There are 28 high-calorie-burning exercise you can do to get ripped fast. The manual concludes with a number of tips and a little Q&A from real customers.

What I Didn't Like

One fault I found with this ebook is that it doesn't have an index—making information difficult to find. To get around this I just printed it out and tagged each section.

Also, planning and preparing meals take more time than the meals that come in the Fat Loss For Idiots program, but there is surprisingly a large variety of foods to choose from and it's not as strict as most diets because it does not eliminate bread.

Rating Summary

By the time you're done this manual you will know exactly what to eat and how much, what exercises build ripped abs and burn the most calories, and how to maximize your workouts to make them more efficient. You'll also look at cardio exercises entirely differently. I was shocked at what I discovered.

Once you learn these exercises you'll never do another workout with at least one of these exercises in it. This program really killed my core section and made me more, solid, strong, and lean overall.

If you're a real hard-core by-the-book guy or gal, this program will get your abs ripped very fast. This is a very comprehensive health guide that will show you how to achieve a healthier lifestyle and a more efficient training program to get ripped.

Fat Loss for Idiots blew me away. I purchased it before The Truth About Six Pack Abs. When I started this diet I weighed 209 pounds. When I finished the diet, 22 days later, I weighed 187 pounds, and I maintained most of my muscle. Only a few days after starting the diet I could feel my fat melting away.

Fat Loss for Idiots is a very unique diet program. I never expected results this fast. This diet follows 5 main principles:

  1. Consists of many high satiety foods that make you feel fuller for longer periods of time.
  2. Consists of foods that force glucose levels down—promotes rapid weight loss.
  3. Consists of unique food combinations—also promotes rapid weight loss.
  4. Eat more often—increases the rate your metabolism burns calories.
  5. Practicality—doesn't require you to cook up fancy meals.

For me, practicality was one the most beneficial principles of this diet program. The meals are quick and easy to make. You can get away without having to use your stove. This makes it very easy to follow.

This diet program comes with a an online diet generator. Basically you sign into your account and begin creating your diet by selecting from a list of foods you like to eat.

The diet generator outputs your diet for the next 11 days with a grocery list of everything you need to buy.

You eat 4 times per day; however, I'll admit that I ate 5 time per day and still lost weight like crazy. My fifth meal of the day was usually nuts.

The Diet Handbook is also included. This guide outlines 10 rules you should follow during your everyday life to stay slim. One of these rules is walking. I walked for 30 minutes every day. This was the only exercise I did the entire time I was on the diet.

For a little bit extra you can get the Beyond Calories guide . This guide consists of a 10 day diet. Basically it breaks specific foods down into 4 groups. Each day is then broken down into 6 meals that tell you what food groups to eat from. Unique food combinations is one of the main principle strategies behind this diet program. It also discusses 3 rules you should follow to maintain your new slim body.

The great thing about this diet is that it operates in 11 day cycles. On the 12th day I cheated and ate whatever I wanted. It wasn't healthy food, but I still lost weight regardless.

In The Truth About Six Pack Abs the author explains how having a cheat day in your diet actually increases your body's ability to burn more fat. This is because while you're on a diet your body will begin to think it's starving and it will actually start to burn less calories to compensate. A cheat day tricks the body so it doesn't think it's starving anymore, so your metabolism continues to burn fat and calories fast.

What I Didn't Like

One thing I didn't like about this diet is that it allows diet pop. Diet pop is a big no-no. You shouldn't drink diet pop because aspartame is a chemical that makes you retain body fat. I got in the habit of only drinking water while I was on this diet. This habit has stuck with me and has made a huge difference in controlling my weight. Drinks are just excess calories.

Another thing I didn't like is that it allows you to eat processed meat. This is another big no-no. Try to eat as natural as possible. I ate a little processed meat, but I replaced most of it with real meat and fish.

The fruit only days and the vegetable only days are hard, but they are the days you'll notice the most gains.

Rating Summary

This diet almost totally eliminates bread and dairy depending on what you foods you select while you're creating your diet. The meals are fast and easy to make which make it easy to follow.

The science behind the food combinations accelerates your metabolism to burn more fat and calories. I lost 22 pounds after completing two 11 day cycles with one cheat day on day 12. Plus it doesn't require you to workout to lose weight. All you have to do is walk for about 30 minutes per day.
